Accessibility Statement
Last reviewed: March 24, 2026
Our Commitment
RoleNavigator is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards.
Standards We Target
We target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. These guidelines define how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities.
What We've Done
In March 2026, we completed a comprehensive accessibility audit covering 218 findings across our entire application. All identified issues were remediated, including:
- Color contrast: All text meets WCAG AA contrast ratios (minimum 4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text) in both light and dark modes
- Keyboard navigation: All interactive elements are reachable and operable via keyboard alone
- Screen reader support: Proper ARIA labels, roles, and landmarks throughout the application
- Focus management: Visible focus indicators on all interactive elements; focus traps in modals
- Form accessibility: All form inputs have associated labels; error messages are programmatically linked
- Semantic HTML: Proper heading hierarchy, landmark regions, and list structures
Known Limitations
While we strive for full accessibility, some limitations may exist:
- AI-generated documents (DOCX format) may not be fully accessible in all document readers
- Third-party job listing content scraped from external sources may not meet our accessibility standards
Report a Concern
If you encounter an accessibility barrier while using RoleNavigator, we want to hear from you:
- Email: [email protected] (subject: "Accessibility Concern")
- In-app: Use the feedback button (available on every page) and select "Bug Report"
We aim to respond to accessibility concerns within 5 business days and resolve confirmed issues as a priority.
Continuous Improvement
We review our accessibility practices regularly and include accessibility testing in our development process. Our next planned review is scheduled for Q3 2026.
